Roasted Garlic Cloves
Creates evenly roasted, deliciously soft, garlic cloves.

(or a "lid" made from foil)
Ingredients

garlic cloves, peeled, cleaned
1
tablespoon
extra virgin olive oil
Kosher Salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300°F
In a small bowl, toss the cloves with oil and salt. Drain.
Make a "boat" with foil to put into the casserole dish. (See photo below)
Put the cloves into the boat.
Add a small amount of water or broth (chicken, beef, or vegetable) in the area outside of the "boat."
Cover and bake for 25-35 minutes until a fork can easily pierce the largest clove.
Notes
Option: Add 1/2 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning or just Oregano with the oil and salt.
