Won-Ton Cups

I use these cups in the Won-Ton Wonders recipe, but I’ve also made them separately to snack on and use as delivery systems for other things.

Ingredients

  • Square Won-ton wrappers, cut into quarters
  • Vegetable or olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cayenne (optional)
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Onion powder (optional)
  • Dried cilantro (optional)
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Turmeric (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Place the wrappers on a work surface. Brush lightly with the oil.
  3. Put the wrappers into the bottom of miniature (1-inch) muffin tins. Season with salt, pepper and other spices as desired.1
  4. Bake until light brown, 5-7 minutes. Let cool in pan slightly before removing to cool completely on wire rack.
  5. Store in an airtight container in a cool place until ready to use.

Notes

  1. Alternatively, you can mix your spices into the oil 30-60 minutes before use to infuse the oil
