Cranberry Relish

If you’re tired of the same old cranberry sauce, this rocks. And is easy.
Cranberry Relish
Servings: 12
Equipment
- Food processor
Ingredients
- 12 ounce bag of cranberries, rinsed
- 1 orange zested
- 1 orange peeled, seeded, and rough chopped
- 1 granny smith apple, cored, seeded, and cut into eighths
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds
- 150 grams sugar (¾ cup)
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- (If you have a pathetic food processor like me, you may need to do this in batches.)
- Zest the orange, then peel and remove any seeds. (You can use this whole, rind and all, but I just didn't like the pith.)
- Core the apple, removing the seeds, then rough chop.
- Add the cranberries and process until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and run food processor until smooth.
- Refrigerate and serve with turkey or chicken.
