Holy shit: sites with hundreds of ads piss me off. I just wanted a recipe for Spanish Coffee — I didn’t need to know your family history of alcoholism.

Spanish Coffee

Equipment

  • Torch (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Kahlua
  • ½ ounce orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Grand Marnier)
  • ½ ounce rum (optional)
  • Lemon Wedge
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Brewed Coffee
  • Whipped Cream
  • Grated Chocolate or Nutmeg

Instructions

  • Wet the rim of a glass with the lemon wedge and dip into sugar to coat the rim. (Optional: use a torch to caramelize the sugar on the rim.)
  • Carefully add the Kahlua, orange liqueur, and rum. Fill with coffee and stir carefully. Add a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle with shaved/grated chocolate and/or nutmeg.
