Cranberry Relish

If you’re tired of the same old cranberry sauce, this rocks. And is easy.

Cranberry Relish

Prep Time10 minutes
Course: Side Dish
Servings: 12

Equipment

  • Food processor

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag of cranberries, rinsed
  • 1 orange zested
  • 1 orange peeled, seeded, and rough chopped
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored, seeded, and cut into eighths
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 150 grams sugar (¾ cup)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • (If you have a pathetic food processor like me, you may need to do this in batches.)
  • Zest the orange, then peel and remove any seeds. (You can use this whole, rind and all, but I just didn't like the pith.)
  • Core the apple, removing the seeds, then rough chop.
  • Add the cranberries and process until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and run food processor until smooth.
  • Refrigerate and serve with turkey or chicken.
