Dog Biscuits 1

I recently bought some dog-themed (bones, paws, etc.) cookie cutters to make my own dog biscuits.
Peanut Butter Dog Treats
First attempt at dog treats.
Servings: 200 small treats
Ingredients
- 120 grams white whole wheat flour (1 cup)
- 92 grams all purpose or oat flour (1 cup)
- 135 grams natural peanut butter (½ cup)
- pinch salt (see notes)
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup water, divided
Instructions
- Turn oven on, set to 300°F
- Using a stand mixer, mix flour, peanut butter, and eggs together.
- Add water 1-tablespoon at a time until it's wet enough to be a dough.
- Roll out to ¼-inch thick
- Cut into desired shapes and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the bottoms start to darken
Notes
- If you’re using peanut butter with sugar and salt in it, I’ve never done that.
- Can keep for a week at room temperature, 2-3 weeks in the ‘fridge. Freeze for longer storage.
- I think these need a touch of salt but Romeo seems to like them just the way they are.
- A full recipe makes ~100 small treats. Recipe easily halves.
